Edward Carreon – President and Co-owner
With over 15 years of combined experience in Civil Engineering and the steel fabrication industry, Edward brings a wealth of expertise to his role as co-owner of RNR Steel Inc.
Starting his career in the Philippines, Edward developed his skills in designing, constructing, and maintaining sub-transmission facilities. Just months after he moved to Canada in 2012, Edward joined RNR Steel Inc. as an Estimator. Quickly demonstrating his efficiency and hard work, he progressed to Project Coordinator and Steel Detailer positions, where he played a vital role in ensuring the projects’ success.
As part of his daily responsibilities, he undertakes a wide range of tasks. Some of these include examining blueprints and specifications, managing the procurement and delivery of materials, creating detailed steel drawings, and conducting thorough site inspections to ensure accurate work is done and delivered.
In 2016, Edward’s consistent hard work and dedication were recognized when he was offered part ownership of the company. This was a great testament of his commitment to RNR Steel Inc. In 2022, he became co-owner alongside Joelene Ray. Besides his technical skills, Edward also serves as the company’s President, overseeing management tasks.
In addition, Edward is an Engineer-in-Training, a Certified Engineering Technologist, and a Certified Welding Supervisor. He is actively working towards getting his professional engineering licence, demonstrating his ongoing dedication to professional development. Edward looks forward to leading the company’s strategic direction to provide exceptional quality craftsmanship that meets industry standards.
